Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or subscribing to MakeShorty, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

MakeShorty is a web application for creating and exporting short-form social media slide posts. Access requires an account and an active subscription. Features and limits depend on your plan (Standard, Pro, or Max) and are described on the pricing page.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Plan changes take effect as described on the pricing page.

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If a technical issue prevents you from using the service, contact me and I will do my best to resolve it.

5. Your Content

You own the posts, text, and images you create. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or export, and for how you use stock images from third-party providers such as Pexels under their licenses.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not resell or share your account, attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse the AI features or API, reverse engineer the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer

MakeShorty is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated text may be inaccurate or unsuitable; review it before posting. I am not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

8. Changes

I may update these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
